Cascade went above and beyond our expectations on the landscaping of our new home. It is more beautiful than we ever envisioned at a very reasonable price. When we first met with John Darrow, we could tell right away that he had a lot of experience and knowledge in design, sprinkler systems and landscaping in general. He came up with some great ideas for the sloping sides of our lot - raising some areas in order to have a more level lawn and also a garden plot with a retaining wall. Cascade's bid was less than another company's quote yet it included a lot more. We were impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. John put in steps down from our front porch to a winding paver walkway that extends from the front of our house to the back and he took his time preparing the soil underneath then leveled each paver perfectly - it's truly a work of art! John worked right alongside his other crew members - they were all polite and hard working. John's down-to-earth, friendly and upbeat personality made him very easy to work with and we found him to be honest and trustworthy. We love looking at our yard now and show it off whenever somebody drops by - they are all so impressed! We would definitely hire Cascade Landscaping and Design again......David Bryant

I am long over due in writing a recommendation/review for John and his crew at Cascade Landscape and Design. We purchased an older home and gutted it before we moved in and let’s just say that the construction process was none to friendly on an already worn out yard. I received multiple bids but John’s included a lot more hardscape for a similar amount of money. John was on site everyday and helped me design the yard as nothing was usable due to the slope, and he did some excavation to make us some flat portions. We now have a fire pit area that they meticulously cut each piece of flagstone, a few walk ways, planter beds, sprinklers, low voltage lighting, sod, rock walls etc. We couldn’t be happier. Oddly, I didn’t seem to many photos when they were done last summer when it looked perfect but will post a few so I am not another 9 months in writing the review. John and his crew Andrew and Jose were all great to work with! ......Carrie Duffey

My wife and I have had several companies come out and give us ideas and bids. None fit the bill for us so we were going to hold off until spring. I decided to call John at Cascade Landscape Design to pick his brain and he told me he would be able to come up to Mukilteo do a retaining wall for us. He came up from Vancouver gave us a fair bid and had several great ideas. His crew worked every day in that February downpour all day long and even when I told them to call it a day they kept chugging along. The crew gave us a beautiful wall and stairs that has made us proud of our backyard. They were professional crew and I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks John and crew!!! .....Stephen McDermott
